For Apartment Hotels

Apartment hotel operations for multi-room properties in Japan

Connect inventory, pricing, guest communication, and housekeeping across an entire multi-room property. The facility retains its applicable Inns and Hotels Act permit; StayJP operates only within the verified permit and contracted scope.

Property format

Whole building

Shared standards across rooms

Exit terms

One month written notice

Operations fragment as room count grows

Inventory and rates drift by room

Updating several OTAs and room types separately makes stop-sells and rate discrepancies easy to miss.

Short and extended stays need different journeys

Housekeeping, supplies, and guest questions change with stay length, so one generic workflow is not enough.

Housekeeping status is disconnected

Late handoffs between checkout, cleaning, and room inspection can affect the next arrival.

The owner becomes the daily coordinator

Messages from OTAs, guests, and local teams converge on the property owner or operator.

Apartment hotel operations FAQ

Is apartment hotel a separate permit category in Japan?

No. Apartment hotel is a property format or commercial label, not a separate category under the Inns and Hotels Act. We confirm each facility's actual hotel/ryokan or simple-lodging permit and operating model.

Does StayJP hold the hotel permit for the property?

The facility side holds the applicable Inns and Hotels Act permit. StayJP's Housing Accommodation Management Business registration applies to minpaku management, not hotel licensing. We provide the operations agreed in contract.

Can StayJP apply for or renew the permit?

StayJP does not prepare or submit permit applications or renewals. Where needed, we can introduce an affiliated administrative scrivener, while our role begins with the operating scope of a permitted facility.
