For Small Hotels

An operations company that runs small hotels

For small hotels where front desk, OTA, pricing, and housekeeping coordination falls back on the owner. The facility retains its Inns and Hotels Act permit; StayJP takes on the operations agreed in contract alongside the existing team.

From booking through the stay

Smaller properties carry the heaviest burden

Owner by day, night clerk by night

One staff member quits and you're back on the front desk. Late check-ins, early check-outs, emergency calls—you're on edge 24 hours a day.

OTA commissions go up, direct bookings don't

Every percentage point the OTAs raise hits your margin. You know you need to grow direct channels, but when you're busy running the hotel, it never happens.

Revenue leaking out of every room, every night

You know your rates should change by season, day of week, and local events—but finding the time to set them means most end up staying at 'last year's price'.

Your P&L arrives when it's too late to act

Operational data is scattered across platforms. You can't see this week's revenue, channel performance, or cost trends until the month ends.

Small hotel operations FAQ

What is the scope of hotel management when outsourced?

The contract can cover PMS and OTA operations, pricing, guest messages, housekeeping coordination, and review responses. We define the scope around the facility's existing team, including partial outsourcing.

Can you work alongside our existing housekeeping or front-desk teams?

Yes. We define responsibilities, communication paths, and approval limits with existing staff and vendors, then contract only the work StayJP will perform.

How are compliance issues like guest registries and Hotel Business Act requirements handled?

The facility remains responsible for maintaining its Inns and Hotels Act permit and administrative procedures. StayJP's Housing Accommodation Management Business registration applies to minpaku, not hotel licensing. We can introduce an affiliated administrative scrivener when permit work is needed.
